Advocacy and Monitoring Training

PMMG conducted trainings for the representatives of Akhalkalaki and Ninotsminda municipalities on the effective advocacy and monitoring implementation on the development of necessary skills.
The project, within which the training was organized, is financed by ,,European Foundation’’ and its title is ,,Broad public involvement in the detection and resolution of problems in Akhalkalaki and Ninotsminda’’.
The aim of the project is for the broad public interest and needs of the services in Akhalkalaki and Ninotsminda to be provided by local authorities, as well as the promotion of effective planning and implementation of priorities of the programs. 
In addition, the project consists of two main stages – advocacy and monitoring. Advocacy process includes the lobbying of the two main problems identified by the initiative groups of local population to be the part of 2017 years budget plan of the local government; monitoring stage provides observation of the solving process of the mentioned problems.
Within the project, the preliminary consultation was held with the population of Ninotsminda and Akhalkalaki municipalities and as a result, 10-10 participants’ skills have been trained and they got theoretical knowledge through which they will be able to hold the effective advocacy and monitoring towards local reforming process.
